Welcome! I’m Marc Daffern.
I’ve been creating visual art ever since 2013 when I first picked up an iPad and began my journey creating digital art.
I’ve always been drawn to the fine arts, and I was blessed with the opportunity to study them at university. During my time there, I was introduced to the concept of interdisciplinary expression—where multiple art forms come together to create something new. Afterwards, while attending Taylor College of Mission and Evangelism, I was given the chance to experiment with this concept in a live worship event. This sparked a passion in me to explore the many ways we can worship God through creativity.
Through painting, music, and collaborative worship with artists from various disciplines, I discovered a deep, visual language of praise. It’s this fusion of faith and creativity that continues to inspire my work today.
On this page, I’ll be sharing pieces of art that have emerged from moments of worship, prayer, and awe in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Each piece is a reflection of what I sense God speaking to me during these intimate encounters.
I pray these expressions bless and encourage you on your own journey with God.

We asked for a king like those of the nations around us. Ultimately, the Father gave us his Son to be the perfect king.
He wasn’t the king we asked for.
He wasn’t the king we deserved.
He is the king we need.

My soul longs after you, Jesus. I am parched and in need of your refreshment. But I do not know where to go in this desert. Thank you for showing me the way.

During a time of corporate worship, the presence of God fell heavily on all in attendance. All music stopped; everyone and everything fell utterly silent in reverence to His majesty.

I sometimes feel Jesus beckoning me to closer fellowship with him. It’s kind of like a meditation-style prayer that I learned years ago, bringing me down a hillside and placing me on a bench next to Jesus under a tree. There I get to ask him questions and I get to hear his responses . But sometimes I let things get in the way of me being able to see him clearly. Nonetheless, he’s there.

“Open the eyes of my heart, Lord,
Open the eyes of my heart!
I want to see you, I want to see you!
To see you high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of your glory,
Pour out your power and love,
As we sing, holy, holy, holy!”
